More blue flags in Gallicia in 2009

124 emblems dedicated to the Galician coast her turn one more year into national leader in the ranking of sandbanks and beaches with major quality and attraction.
Gallicia can presume to have 124 beaches and ports with blue flag. It is with difference the community that more distinctions has received this year of the whole Spanish coast. Sanxenxo leads the national municipalities ranking with more blue flags with 13.
The excellence of the Galician beaches with a confirmed quality and beauty they form our coast as the most attractive of Spain and Europe. The most important parameters to qualify a beach are the environmental quality, accessibility, health, cleanliness and safety.
Also Gallicia is provided with 5 sports ports with blue flag.
